SITE DEVELOPMENT

• We use MS notepad but exploring xemacs to write all the HTML pages and perl scripts. Other sources otherwise stated.
• The platforms we use to develop and test our Web applications are sometimes FreeBSD and all run on the Linux system.
• One of the browsers on which we test our Web pages is Mozilla.

SITE BACK-END

• LouWho.com is hosted at 10mbps on 27 T3's lines and 3 back-up's in 3 states, with the Apache Web server.
• Many things are impossible without the GNU's C library, compiler and system utilities.
• We use MySQL as our database.

SITE APPLICATIONS

• Some LouWho.com' Web applications are written by using MS notepad, MS Front Page, or the rapid Web applications development 75 meg library at -- perl scripts, or LibWeb.
• Most LouWho.com' Web applications are protected under the GNU Public License or LEAPs.
